Wayland Montessori is delighted to welcome Roberta Medina as our new Directo

Roberta's Montessori background and leadership experience make her a wonderful match for our Wayland community. Her AMI certification for ages 3 to 6 reflects a deep understanding of the Montessori philosophy, which aligns beautifully with our center's commitment to independence, curiosity, and joyful learning. Her years as a lead teacher and school administrator have given her insight into how to guide a team with compassion, clarity, and respect.

In her previous role as a Director at Guidepost Montessori, Roberta focused on creating strong connections among teachers, families, and children, something that is already central to the Wayland experience. She values open communication, steady guidance, and a learning environment where everyone feels seen and supported.

A native of Brazil and a mother of six, Roberta brings warmth, balance, and genuine care to her work every day. Her energy and positivity make her a natural fit for our community, and she is eager to build on the wonderful strengths that already make Wayland Montessori so special.
